Core Values

We Value Youth.

Far too often, youth have been undervalued and overlooked because of their age and/or lack of life experience. When empowered and encouraged to use their gifts, talents, and voices to advocate for others, we believe this generation can be a catalyst for change in their communities and beyond.

We Want Youth to Know They Are Not Alone.

Life is challenging. No matter what they’ve experienced, are walking through, or may be struggling with, we want youth to know they are valued, loved, and not alone.

We Celebrate Diversity.

All lives are sacred, regardless of age, race, ethnicity, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or family background. Accordingly, we firmly believe that everyone is entitled to the same fundamental rights and protections.

We Desire a More Civil Dialogue.

In a climate of increasing divisiveness, and rampant dismissiveness, we want to challenge a generation to engage in conversation, not conflict. We believe this is best achieved through personal engagement and sharing stories that foster compassion for others.

We Value Collaboration.

We endeavor to partner and collaborate with people and organizations that are focused on encouraging this generation through difficult circumstances and empowering them to take action. We also endorse, promote, and support other organizations that are focused on the difficult issues facing this generation.

We Call Others to Action.

There are innumerable ways our actions and decisions can effect change on a local, national, or global level. Whether it’s through our media consumption, purchasing habits, decisions to donate our time and resources, or willingness to fiercely advocate for others, the way we structure our lives matters. We want a generation to live a life of compassion and empathy, choosing to create a community with those who are struggling, marginalized, isolated, and alone. We want to challenge a generation to live and work for the betterment of humanity instead of the elevation of self.
